Montana Avenue is a street that stretches from Ocean Avenue to Barrington Avenue in Brentwood. It is most famous for its upscale shopping and dining in Santa Monica.
You never know what you might find
Just a few blocks from the coastline, Montana Avenue is a charming 10-block open-air retail destination. It is characterized by the excellent service and individualistic style. Here you may find celebrities walking their dogs. There are several independent boutiques where you can find clothes and shoes, accessories, jewelry, home furnishings, and much more. You may just find that perfect outfit or souvenir to take home in your van rental. There are also a number of spas and salons in the area where you can spend a relaxing day.
Shop till you drop
There are many unique stores on Montana Boulevard that you can visit when you come with your van rental. Some of the stores include 10tana Salon, A.B.S. Clothing Collection, Alchemy Wellness & Beauty, All Things Nice, Ames, Antoine Pierre, Brenda Himmel Stationery, Chico's, Cranky Pants, Darylle B, and many, many more.
Plan your trip
Montana Avenue is located in a residential community and is often thought of as one of the best areas to walk around and shop. You can bring your baby and pets here, as there is plenty of room for strollers and many of the merchants have water and treats for dogs. Most of the stores are open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There is metered parking all along the street for your van rental as well as unmetered parking on the side street. Many of the stores also have parking for their clientele. To get here with your van rental from the 10 West Freeway, take the Lincoln Boulevard exit and turn right to Montana.
Head out to the train station
Another great place to visit with your van rental is Bergamot Station. This was once a train station connecting downtown Los Angeles to the beach, but today is a location with more than thirty art galleries and other amenities. If you like art, then you cannot miss Bergamot Station with your Santa Monica van rental. Since 1994, it has become a popular destination for art lovers around the county and around the world. It is a central location where you can spend the day browsing several galleries rather than spending a lot of time travelling from one museum to the other with your van rental. In guides to Los Angeles, it is listed as the primary cultural destination in the city. Bergamot Station has a restaurant on site so you can grab a bite to eat when you are visiting with your Santa Monica van rental. The Gallery Cafe is a great spot to sit down and relax between galleries. There are daily specials. They are open Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday - Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Santa Monica has so much to offer when you visit with your van rental. Montana Avenue is a great place to start your shopping in the area. There are so many unique boutiques here that you can spend hours just exploring them. This is also a place where you can see and be seen. You never know what you will find while you are here.
