The NHM is the largest natural and historical museum and research center in the Western United States, providing visitors with endless learning opportunities. The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is open 9:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday and from 10am to 5pm on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Admission to the museum is $9 for adults, $6.50 for senior and students 13 through 17, $2 for children five through seven and free for kids under five. Admission is free on the first Tuesday of the month. The museum is located at 900 Exposition Boulevard, between Vermont and Figueroa.
