On August 30th, Dig IN will invite local farmers, chefs, brewers, wine vintners and food enthusiasts to indulge in the tastes of Indiana. This summer, Indianas agricultural and culinary experts will make their way to White River State Park to lead guests on a journey from field to tabletop. The sixth annual festival will feature tastings of Indiana food, beer, wine and other local refreshments - plus live entertainment and chefs demonstrating their cooking on site. Combining the freshness of farmers markets and Indianas greatest food minds, Dig IN promises a feast for the senses.
More than 35 of Indianas finest chefs will prepare a unique dish based on fresh produce and meat and poultry from Indiana farms. Attendees will be able to interact directly with the chefs and some of the producers while dining on tastings. Come hungry and fill up over 40 different offerings available at the park.
Dig IN has partnered with the Indiana Wine Grape Council and the Brewers of Indiana Guild to provide Indiana-made wines and beers. More than 20 wineries and breweries are on tap, as is Bjava Coffee & Tea with a signature iced coffee and Natural Born Juicers with a special Dig IN juice. Beverages will be available for taste and purchase.
